Come join a team of engineers who drive innovation and user experience. The Software Test Engineer will help drive and execute test methodologies/strategies in partnership with our Development Team. This individual will be responsible for identifying test scenarios, creation and logging of test cases and bugs into TFS, providing regular status reports and design and create automated test sets.

The day in the life of a Software Test Engineer...

• Improve our test methodologies, metrics, test automation, efficient quality process and test architecture

• Create detailed test plans identifying all the key areas, scenarios and types of tests needed for a given project, this includes desktop website(s), mobile website(s), windows applications, & mobile apps.

• Debugging, analyzing product code, executing tests and analyzing their results

• Creation of test cases and bug management using Team Foundation Server (TFS)

• Create and provide regular status/bug reports

• Design, create and improve test frameworks and automated test sets

• Enforcing, auditing, and streamlining software test and delivery processes.

• Collaborating with dev teams and your team peers to identify and prioritize opportunities for automation.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of related QA Testing experience is required

• QA Automation and/or software development experience.

• Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in software testing methodologies

• Demonstrated command and experience working with Test and Defect Management Workflow tools (TFS Test Manager is a plus)

• Experience in using bug tracking software. (TFS a plus)

• Must have the ability to think outside the box for normal and not so normal scenarios

• Excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong team skills are required

• Must have experience with web/windows/apps testing in an ecommerce environment

• Experience in creation and execution of test frameworks and automated test sets

• Team player, confident and enthusiastic

• Experience with test tools such as Fiddler

Computer Skills:

• Web/Mobile App Frameworks

• Windows system architecture/Windows debugging skills

• Strong understanding of database architecture concepts
