APEX Staffing is Hiring an Office Manager / Bookkeeper Near Bryant, AR

Position Summary/Purpose

20-year-old local company looking to add a full-time team member to provide office and workflow oversight. This position will provide support to management in the orchestration of the administrative, bookkeeping, human resources, and operations functions to improve an efficient seamless workflow and culture.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports company operations by maintaining office systems and coordinating staff.
  • Maintains office services by organizing operations and procedures, preparing payroll, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing and approving supply requisitions, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
  • Oversees ongoing data control into accounting software, establishes reconciliation and period closure deadlines.
  • Management of payables, check preparation, account reconciliations and cost of goods.
  • Completes operational requirements by scheduling and coordinating schedules, following up on results.
  • Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
  • Answer phone and coordinate incoming calls.
  • Prepare business correspondence.
  • Accurately prepare customer work orders, receiving tickets, and outbound bill of ladings and invoices.
  • Administer human resource functions including orienting and training of new employees.
  • Support senior management with ongoing reporting and functional needs.

Experience

· Proven experience in office management or a similar role

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

· Knowledge of general office procedures and standard accounting principles

· Experience in supervising or managing a team is preferred
