Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team. As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, managing administrative tasks, and providing support to the team. The ideal candidate will have experience in public accounting and possess strong skills in Xero, 10 key typing, account analysis, tax, corporate accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries. Responsibilities: - Manage and coordinate administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondence - Maintain office supplies and equipment inventory - Prepare and distribute memos, letters, and other documents - Assist with financial tasks including accounts payable/receivable, account analysis, tax preparation, and journal entries - Coordinate meetings and appointments - Organize and maintain filing systems - Assist with HR functions such as onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records - Provide general support to the team as needed Requirements: - Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of public accounting practices - Proficiency in Xero accounting software - Excellent 10 key typing skills - Familiarity with accounts payable/receivable processes - Ability to perform account analysis and tax preparation - Knowledge of corporate accounting principles - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
