Apex Financial services is Hiring an Employee Benefits Administrator Near Farmington, MI

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Benefits Administrator to join our team. As a Benefits Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and administering employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service to employees. If you have a strong background in benefits administration and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Serve as the main point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related inquiries and issues
- Collaborate with HR team to develop and implement benefit policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity in HRIS systems (e.g., UltiPro, ADP)
- Prepare and distribute benefit communications to employees
- Assist with regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., ACA reporting)
- Coordinate open enrollment activities and provide support to employees during the enrollment process
- Collaborate with payroll department to ensure accurate deduction of benefit premiums
- Stay up to date on industry trends and changes in benefit regulations

Experience:

- Proven experience in benefits administration role
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to employee benefits (e.g., HIPAA)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with training development and conducting employee benefits presentations is a plus
