Aon is Looking For a Tax Manager - Tax Technology

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive tax technology initiatives for the Tax Reporting and Compliance Team
• Lead various aspects of the reimplementation of Corptax for domestic, US-International, and state compliance
• Administrator of Corptax
• Support the implementation of software for Pillar Two
• Execute on process improvements, such as leveraging Power BI, Alteryx, and/or Excel Macros
• Assist with administration and enhancements of SharePoint as an effective tool for sharing documents and managing workflow
• Collaborate with all teams in the tax department, Information Technology, and other key stakeholders within the company
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate various workstreams within the Tax Reporting and Compliance Team

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of Corptax compliance software
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of Alteryx
• Effective project management skills to facilitate excellent execution of tax projects
• Strong organizational and communication skills, written and verbal
• Working knowledge of ASC 740 standards and broad-based experience in federal, state and US-International income taxes
• 3-5 years of experience, with at least 2 years of tax technology experience
• Bachelor's degree in a business or IT related field, with emphasis in accounting preferred
• Experience with Workday a plus

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $100,000 - $140,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago, Illinois The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
