Anthony Vanaria & Sons, Inc., in Waltham, is looking for a full time Accounts Receivable Clerk. The position is Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The ideal candidate will require 3 years of progressively responsible accounting / accounts receivable experience. Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
The primary functions of the position are preparing invoices, contacting delinquent customers via phone to secure payment, mailing / emailing of statements, reviewing account history with customers, reconcile customer accounts as needed, posting / processing payments, credit memos and adjustments as it relates to the landscape, trucking and irrigation divisions.
The essential functions are heavy telephone and computer use, preparation of proposals and contracts, maintaining updated files, spreadsheets and reports, meeting monthly accounts receivable goals, bank deposits, filing, assisting in daily office tasks as assigned, including work related errands.
Skill set includes: Sage Accounting Software, Microsoft Office / Word / Excel / PowerPoint/ Outlook, excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy, team oriented.
