We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic team players to accurately process and post a high volume of payments for Yardi’s Accounts Receivable team!

What you will do

• Apply customer payments to the accounting system, including checks, ACH, and credit cards
• Research and resolve payment application issues; identify process improvements to prevent recurring issues
• Escalate issues to Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst upon exhausting research efforts
• Ensure all payments are applied within a week of batch date and by month end
• Communicate with clients regarding remit discrepancies when needed
• Prepare scheduled and ad-hoc reports
• Assist with researching unpaid invoices and collecting payments
• Update client records, client information, and billing settings
• Assist with generating and distributing invoices; sets up client invoicing information in the accounting system
• Maintain solid knowledge or accounts receivable concepts and department policies and procedures

What you need to have

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• One plus (1 ) years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience
• Solid knowledge of accounts receivable concepts
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables
• Data entry and 10-key proficiency
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and team player mentality
• Close attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to meet deadlines
