Position Summary

Under the direction of Chief Operating Officer, The Accounting Specialist is a junior level position on the Operations Team who will be an early member of a rapidly growing team as ANP ENERTECH is setting up its US manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

1. Accounts Payable

· Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate coding.

· Initiate and execute timely and accurate payments to vendors.

· Address and resolve internal and vendor AP inquiries.

· Update and maintain internal reporting.

2. Accounts Receivable

· Post and report customer invoices.

· Monitor bank accounts and post payments.

· Manage and actively communicate AR aging.

· Update and maintain internal reporting.

3. General Expense Management

· Review, record, and reconcile credit card transactions, petty cash, and employee reimbursements.

4. General Ledger and Journal Entries

· Record accurate and intercompany journal entries.

5. Account Reconciliation

· Perform monthly bank and credit card account reconciliations.

· Investigate and resolve discrepancies.

6. Sales Tax

· Monitor, calculate, and remit monthly/quarterly sales tax filings in accordance with regulatory requirements.

7. General

· Maintain strong communication skills to interface with external vendors in US & internal partners in our US Plant as well as Korean HQ.

· Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.

· Assist in audits by providing balance sheets and other annual reports.

· Identify opportunities for financial process improvement.

· Undertake additional ad-hoc projects and assignments as required.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Fluency in Korean Language

Recent Graduates or 1-3 years of relevant work experience.

Self-starter, high level of initiative.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related business discipline

Proficiency in Office 365.

Proven experience as a full-cycle bookkeeper.

Understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, demonstrating expertise in data formulation & manipulation.

Strong interpersonal communication skills, conveying information clearly, on time.

Work Authorization: OPT, EAD.
