Overview:
We are looking for someone to join Another Round and grow with us over the years. The right person will not only be passionate about coffee, but also about our mission of growing a community through play and a shared love of all things well-crafted, whether it be an impeccably brewed beer, a beautifully roasted coffee, or an expertly designed board game.

Another Round’s Lead Bartender will oversee the bar’s operations which will provide guests craft beers, draft cocktails, cans, and bottles of alcoholic, non-alcoholic, and gluten free options. Some light food preparation and preparation for the next day's drinks will be required.

In addition to taking drink orders and producing the beverages and snacks in a timely manner, the Lead Bartender will be required to check IDs of anyone who orders a drink and looks younger than 30 years of age and be responsible for overseeing patrons as they play games to ensure that the game has been properly rented.

Duties:

• Be a welcoming presence to all guests.
• Check IDs to ensure all guests are of a legal drinking age and stamp the hands of anyone who is of drinking age.
• Being able to speak to the different qualities of our different draft offerings and steer guests towards a beverage they will love.
• Being able to take drink orders and produce drinks in a timely and orderly manner.
• Manage checking people in/out of tabs, which may include retail items and game rental periods.
• Re-stocking pretzels in the steamer as necessary following all food safety regulations.
• Labeling any open bottles at the end of the night
• Replacing any empty kegs as needed and at the end of service.
• Flexibility to assist during off hours for special events or to fill in for team members on occasion.
• Must able to learn how to use the espresso/coffee equipment for anyone who may want a late-night caffeinated drink.
• Clean all service equipment at the end of service.

Qualifications:

At least one year working in a bar/brewery setting is required. Having experience developing cocktails and/or any time worked as a barista is preferable.

This job will require standing for long periods of time as well as carrying supplies up and down stairs at several points throughout the day. Being able to lift and carry 50 pounds will be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
