Position Description: The Assistant Residential Manager is responsible for providing residential supports to the Residential Manager and the Direct Support Professionals. Demonstrated organizational skills are required. Strong leadership potential is required. The ability to multi-task and cope with stressful situations, while maintaining professionalism, is essential. Assist with provision of support and services for the Villagers, scheduling residential staff to maintain ratios and assist with ensuring the health and safety for all Villagers.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Services, Business, and/or Social Services; with a minimum of 4 years work experience and/or a combination of education and experience equal to 4 years. Experience in human services field is desired; demonstrated interest in working with adults with DD/ID is required. Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid Class C Georgia Driver’s License, proof of vehicle insurance, and meet company policy regarding MVR requirements. Must meet state requirements regarding a GBI and FBI criminal history record check which requires fingerprinting. Must undergo and pass a drug screening and screening for Tuberculosis.
