Job Description

At Annandale Millwork and Allied Systems Corporation, the Truss/Panel Assembler is responsible for assembling building material components. This dedicated team member performs one or more repetitive jobs on an assembly line under direct supervision.

Required Skills

• Minimum education preferred- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Knowledge of and ability to use a variety of hand and power tools to assemble either building materials components product.
• Use and read a measuring tape correctly. Ability to communicate with other co-workers and supervisors.
• Ability to work in a high paced team environment to meet daily production goal
• Must be able to:
• Lift 65lbs from ground level to standing position, 20lbs above head.
• Pull 20lbs from a standing position, from various levels, including above head.
• Pull 20lbs from a kneeling position, from various levels, including above head.
• Must be reliable and maintain good attendance.

Major Responsibilities

• Responds attentively to training from supervisor or more senior assemblers in order to increase own knowledge or work processes
• Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required
• May perform other duties or projects as assigned by management.
