Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance. The technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems. This position requires a strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical (single phase and three phase), compressors, HVAC, fire system, lighting systems, and plumbing systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Routine Maintenance:
Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal functioning.
2. Repairs:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems promptly and effectively.
Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
3. Equipment Installation:
Install new equipment and systems as needed, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
4. Troubleshooting:
Identify and troubleshoot issues with building systems and equipment.
Collaborate with other team members to solve complex maintenance problems.
5. Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment installations.
Provide regular updates on maintenance tasks and project progress.
6. Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
Report any safety concerns or violations to the appropriate personnel.
7. Communication:
Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and other staff members.
Provide clear and concise information on maintenance issues and resolutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance and facilities management
- Proficiency in hydraulics and mechanical systems
- Ability to weld using stick welding techniques
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
