Position Purpose
Responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and environmental integrity. Your primary focus will be on cleaning tasks, along with cleaning skill acquisition for our villagers and you will play a crucial role in upholding the overall well-being and satisfaction of our villagers.
Required Qualifications
Must be able to speak and understand English.
Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid Class C Georgia Driver’s License, proof of vehicle insurance, and meet company policy regarding MVR requirements.
Must meet state requirements regarding a GBI and FBI criminal history record check which requires fingerprinting.
Must undergo and pass a drug screening and screening for Tuberculosis.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Cleaning Duties- Perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure a sanitary and orderly environment. Address specific cleaning needs in resident rooms, common areas, and other designated spaces.
Environmental Integrity- Monitor and uphold established cleanliness standards in accordance with regulatory requirements. Identify and report any environmental issues that may impact the well-being of villagers or staff.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and healthy living environment.
Data Collection- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and routines. Document cleanliness status of rooms and common areas regularly. Compile data on cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages to Procurement.
Reporting- Report maintenance needs and environmental concerns promptly to the appropriate team members. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding cleaning schedules and tasks.
Provide input on improvements to cleaning procedures and protocols.
Skill acquisition-Provide villagers with education on maintenance and cleanliness of their environment.
Coordinate with the Assessment and Curriculum Coordinator and Behavior Analyst as needed.
Direct Support Professional duties during Day Program hours as needed (activities of daily living)
Provides watchful oversight of Villagers well-being throughout shift.
Communicates and documents villager concerns involving villager behaviors or needs to the villager’s case manager.
Maintains and adheres to the laundry and room cleaning schedule for each villager and provides assistance/training to those who are unable to complete this task on their own.
Compiles and evaluates CLEAN data to aid in individualized goals, and AFLS curriculum.
Compiles CLEAN data in conjunction with AFLS Coordinator within a villagers first 90 days.
Performs other duties as assigned that are necessary and for the best interest of the Villagers, and Annandale at Suwanee, Inc.
