Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher and assisant to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and fostering their love for learning. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development in areas such as math, literacy, and social skills
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence
- Monitor student progress and assess their learning through observation, assessments, and evaluations
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
- Foster a positive classroom culture that promotes respect, inclusivity, and diversity
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to plan school-wide events and activities
Qualifications:
- Montessori Trained (preferred)
- 12 ECE units required
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children (preferred)
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Familiarity with curriculum development for preschool education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent classroom management abilities
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with young children
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
We offer competitive compensation packages based on qualifications and experience.
