Job Summary:
Working under the Executive Director, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations and benefits administration. Also will be assisting the owner on projects for clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of employment labor laws and possess excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills.
Duties:
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks
- Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including conducting orientation sessions and ensuring all required paperwork is completed
- Maintain employee records in HRIS system (UltiPro, ADP, SAP) and ensure data accuracy
- Process payroll changes and updates in collaboration with the payroll department
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
- Support employee relations efforts by addressing employee questions and concerns in a timely manner
- Assist with performance management processes, including performance reviews and succession planning
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Assist with affirmative action planning and reporting requirements
- Provide support in resolving employee conflicts or disputes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an HR Coordinator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations
- Proficient in HRIS systems (UltiPro, ADP, SAP) and MS Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
