Andy Mohr Truck Center is a Class 8 Volvo / Commercial Ford Truck Dealer. We are part of the
Andy Mohr Automotive group that employees over 900 people throughout central Indiana. We are
committed in building strong customer and employee relationships. We are looking to hire Service
technicians with experience in medium and heavy duty truck and engine repair.

*RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
 Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service
equipment
 Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle systems including engine, transmission, clutches,
electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
 Communicate directly with the Service Advisor / Shop Foreman so that customers can be informed
if any additional service is needed. 
 Perform preventative maintenance
 Maintain good customer relations and performance standards 
 
*REQUIREMENTS:
 Strong Truck, Gas and Diesel Engine background
 Strong teamwork skills
 Great attitude, Team Player
 Willingness to learn, dependable and reliable 
 Tools required
 Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
 Must have clean & valid driver's license

*Higher level role with higher pay
 CDL
 Engine certifications

 Heavy duty truck experience
 Transmission certifications
 Volvo / Ford Experience

Qualifications

Job Requirements  

• High School diploma
• Must have at least 2 years as a gas or diesel technician
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Knowledge in all aspects of gas or diesel truck repair and maintenance
• A fast learner
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Team Player
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ensures that customer trucks are kept clean
• To maintain his stall in an orderly and clean manner

Skills/Qualifications  

• Ability to identify problems quickly
• Good knowledge of medium and heavy duty trucks
• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
• Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
