Description

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee all building-related activities.

The ideal candidate will be well-organized and able to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs. Leadership abilities and phenomenal efficiency can set you apart among our candidate pool.

The goal is to ensure our business’s accommodation is problem-free and safe so that employees can work under the best conditions. 

Qualifications


Responsibilities

  • Indirectly/directly supervise all outside vendors regarding facility upkeep (cleaning, heating/AC, plumbing and grounds keeping).
  • Plan and coordinate through outside architects/contractors all construction projects from initial plans through the entire project including ground up, service expansion and dealership reimaging…etc. Will require working directly with operators, management and manufacturers to design and build an efficient and effective project.
  • Directly supervisor external contractors with regards to smaller facility projects – asphalting, bathroom refresh…. etc.
  • Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
  • Control activities like parking lot lighting, waste disposal, building security etc.
  • Be able to manage budgeting for projects and monthly building maintenance.

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position
  • Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Good analytical/critical thinking
  • BSc/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field would be advantage
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CFM) will be an advantage.

Education & Experience

  • General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Willingness to take direction from management.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to prioritize and to complete tasks in a timely manner.
