Functions/Duties

1. Deliversexceptional customer service to all customers by acting with a “customer comesfirst” attitude and creating the “NGE Way” environment in every station.

2. Providesquality food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipeand presentation standards. Follows health, safety and sanitationguidelines for all products.

3. Acts withintegrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and missionof NGE

4. Maintains a calm exterior presence during periods of high volume orunusual events to maintain a clean comfortable store environment.

5. Follows NGE’soperational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling andsafety and security, to ensure the safety of all team members during eachshift.

6. Maintains aclean and organized workspace so that team members can locate resources andproduct as needed.

7. Recognizes andreinforces individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizationalmethods.

8. Contributes topositive team environment by recognizing red flags or changes in team moraleand communicating them to the management team.

9. Assists withnew team training by positively reinforcing successful performance and givingrespectful and encouraging coaching as needed.

10. Maintains regular andconsistent attendance and punctuality by checking schedules regularly forchanges.

11. Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customer for cues. Communicates information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary to create the “NGE Way” environment during each shift.

Additional Requirements

Having a friendly and engaging personality

A good communicator, able to work under pressure. 

Comfortable working with members of the public, able to initiate conversations and provide a sincere welcome and enjoy providing good service. 

Need to be willing to learn, take instruction and work under own initiative, supporting other team members and able to multitask. 

An effective, well organized and efficient team player with a strong sense of discipline and urgency.•

Holds self-accountable for high personal standards of conduct and professionalism

Physical Requirements 

Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required. 

Work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions. 

Move about facility and stand for long periods of time. 

Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
