As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. Completion of all activities accurately, and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients/family members and document basic medical information
• Obtain vital signs, perform health screening and testing according to established protocols
• Administer immunizations, perform CLIA-waived testing & procedures according to established protocols
• Assist during medical examinations
• Update patient electronic medical records, scan reports and document test results
• Assist during medical examinations
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments

Skills

• Proven ability to work effectively with all members of the primary care team
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Social perceptiveness and service oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software

Schedule

• Monday: 7:45AM - 5:30PM
• Tuesday: 7:45AM - 1:00PM
• Wednesday: 7:45AM - 7:00PM
• Thursday: 7:45AM - 7:00PM
• Friday: Off
• Every other weekend Saturday & Sunday: 8:00AM - 12:00PM
• Participate in holiday rotation: 8:00AM - 12:00PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.40 - $23.90 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
