Description of Task to be Performed:

AnaVation is seeking a Senior System Administrator with a fervent dedication to ensuring the efficient provisioning, configuration, operation, and maintenance of system hardware, software, and associated infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

· Actively participating in technical research and development (R&D) discussions and activities to foster ongoing innovation.

· Managing and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory, overseeing system policies and the multi-factor authentication mechanisms to enhance enterprise security.

· Demonstrating expertise in datacenter and server environments, including the installation and support of production servers and user workstations in an enterprise setting.

· Ensuring adherence to organizational standards for system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures.

· Performing general Local Area Network/Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN) management in coordination with system implementations.

· Taking accountability for the administration of both on-premise and cloud-based Microsoft Windows Systems/Domains, as well as Linux servers.

· Providing support for storage platforms, including Linux Ceph storage, and managing EMC Storage Area Network (SAN) / Network Attached Storage (NAS).

This position is on-site in Quantico, VA and requires a Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a CI clearance with a polygraph.

Required Qualifications:

• Possess ten or more years of extensive systems administration experience, including proficient management and maintenance of both on-premise and cloud-based Windows Active Directory environments.
• Extensive experience in managing Microsoft SCCM / MECM and WSUS for software deployment, enforcing security patch compliance and reporting.
• Experience in building, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux servers (RedHat and Ubuntu) and adept at integrating Linux systems into Active Directory Domains.
• Specific experience in managing RedHat Satellite patch servers.
• Knowledge and experience architecting, managing, and maintaining Cisco UCS, VMware virtualized server/workstation environment, AWS hybrid cloud, and storage platforms encompassing EMC Isilon NAS and Ceph Linux- based storage.
• Experience in hybrid cloud infrastructures, datacenter, server environment, and installation and support of production servers and user workstations within an enterprise setting.

• 4 year college degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Alternatively, at the discretion of the government PM, a combination of experience and equivalent technical certifications maybe be considered as substitutes for formal education.

• Microsoft: Minimum certification at the Associate level, with a preference for Expert LPI, RHCSA® or RHCE®, or UCP
• Cisco: Professional of Expert level
