Duties & Responsibilities
- Reports to Office Manager and adheres to guidance from Logistics Lead
- Handles incoming and outgoing packages
- Tracking inventory and performing weekly/monthly inventory counts
- Keeping accurate records - updating Missive, Asana, uploading shipping photos, ect.
- Preparing, packaging and weighing items for inspection
- Printing shipping labels and postage
- Inspecting materials received and/or damaged and documenting as required
- Distributing products to other departments and tracking with SOS Inventory System
- Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, freight forwarders and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
- Preparing Certificates and shipping documents for customers. These will be inspected by Logistics Lead before processing.
- Provide quotes on parts shipments to team members as needed
- Monitor and re-stock shipping supplies
- End of day duties include cleaning surfaces, sweeping under shipping tables, keeping shipping and receiving orderly.
Requirements
- Punctual and detail oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as being a team player at all times
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Good working knowledge of shipping and receiving is a plus
- Maintaining professionalism at all times with upper management, co-workers, customers and freight forwarders is a must
- Use our email client called Missive App (email, chat, team communication)
- Proficient in Asana Project management app
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (including how to access our cloud server OneDrive/Sharepoint) especially Excel
- SOS Inventory (QBO third party app) can be trained
