Job Summary

Under the direction of the tool design engineer, this role will support the overall operation in improving manufacturing capabilities within our stamping, screen-printing, and assembly operation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and develop current production data and analyze relevancy of metrics in reaching production throughput goals.
• Perform time studies of manufacturing plant processes.
• Propose potential process improvements based on time studies.
• Support engineering department with customer relations in a professional manner.
• Support engineering and operations through activities to improve product quality and operational consistency.
• Create Auto-CAD drawings as required.
• Create 3D CAD models.
• Assist in the identification and implementation of effective solutions that will improve the manufacturing process and capabilities. Develop and redesign facility layouts in support of this objective. Promote continuous improvements initiatives.
• Assist in the resolution of production problems existing processes as need arises.
• Develop and maintain supporting documents of activities in an organized manner for easy retrieval for review and consideration.
