We are looking for a Materials Coordinator
Responsible for recording, signing/authorizing and ensuring accuracy of information on all shipping/receiving documentation. Entering of all packing slip/ B.O.L. (Bill of Lading) data in CMS ensure lot tractability requirements are met. Prepares/generates Bill of Lading (B.O.L.) for customers when required. Will assist in the validation of all labeling and identification processes in shipping and receiving.
Accountabilities:
- Prepares/generates Bill of Lading (B.O.L.) for vendors and customers
- Recording, signing/authorizing and ensuring accuracy of information on all shipping/receiving documentation
- Enters all receiving documentation into CMS ensuring accuracy
- Enters all Shipping documentation into CMS ensuring accuracy
- Cycle counting as required
- Follow FIFO procedures (First in First out)
- Is accountable for maintaining all shipping/receiving procedures
- Is accountable for performing vendor audits for both documentation and/or packaging requirements
- Materials Coordinator will receive the shipment B blanks ASN (Created Negative N blank)
- Materials Coordinator will Production report N blanks based on the ASN & B Blank receiving document
- Weekly - Materials Coordinator will reconcile Coil inventory with Supplier - leads and tails - Scrap
- Monthly (Month-end) - Materials Coordinator will reconcile Coil inventory with Supplier - leads and tails - Scrap
- Verify all Scrap and process scrap reconciliation for Month End. Implement approval process for material going into bins.
- Daily Supplier Production reporting documents still need to be received by plant - Used for any reconciliations.
- Prepared to implement additional tasks dependent on AMTB growth
- Backup Shipping and Receiving functions as required
- Assists with other areas and performs other duties as required
- Fulfill the Health, Safety & Environmental responsibilities identified in the HSE Management Standards and OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 Management Systems
- Fulfill the Quality Management System responsibilities identified in IATF 16949 and AMTB Process Map
- Fulfill the responsibilities as identified in the Employee Handbooks
- Perform any other reasonable assignments given by Management
Skills, Requirements, and Personal Traits:
- Bachelors Degree – Preferably Supply Chain
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a Supply Chain, Inventory, or Materials role within a Manufacturing environment
- Experience utilizing an MRP/ERP system, Microsoft Office
- Process and documentation oriented
- Technologically savvy, possess a strong sense of urgency, strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and being a team player is required
It’s a plus if you have the following
- Experience with CMS ERP
- Ability to work with teams to achieve positive results
- Good benchmarking skills
