Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment and Monitoring:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Utilize advanced monitoring equipment to track vital signs and interpret data for early detection of changes in patient condition.
• Implement and modify individualized care plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Medication Administration:
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor patients for potential side effects and adverse reactions, taking prompt and appropriate action.
• Collaborative Care:
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Patient Education:
• Provide clear and concise education to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Foster a supportive environment that encourages patient and family involvement in care planning.
• Quality Improvement:
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Stay informed about advancements in nursing practice and integrate best practices into daily patient care.
• Emergency Response:
• Respond effectively to emergencies within the Progressive Care Unit, demonstrating proficiency in advanced life support techniques.
• Maintain competence in code procedures and contribute to a culture of safety.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.00 - $49.00 per hour
