AMS Florida is Hiring a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (MLT) Near Atlanta, GA

Job Summary:

As a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT), you will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will Conduct a wide range of complex laboratory tests on patient samples such as blood, urine, and other bodily fluids. Tests may include hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, immunology, and molecular diagnostics.

Shift: Days and Evenings Available

Hourly Wage: $25 - $31 per/hour

Sign-On-Bonus: $7,000-$10,000

Relocation Assistance: Available

Expected Tasks:

  • Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results by performing quality control procedures, maintaining equipment, and adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze test results, interpret findings, and accurately report findings to physicians or other healthcare providers in a timely manner.
  • Instrument Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including those set forth by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and other relevant regulatory agencies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all laboratory tests performed, including patient information, test results, and quality control data.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field.
  • NEW Grads Welcome. 0 - 1 Years Experience (preferred)
  • MLT or CLS License Required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
