Responsibilities

This position plays a critical role in bringing new business into the company. This role combines elements of sales, relationship management, and strategic planning to contribute to the company’s growth within the targeted builder and architect markets.

  • Proactively engage with architects, designers, and key industry influencers to secure involvement in high-impact projects
  • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Proactively identify and qualify potential leads within the builder and architect segments through market research, networking, and outreach.
  • Develop compelling sales materials for effective presentations to customers.
  • Meet or exceed defined monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Custom Home Automation sales, with a focus on lead generation and closing deals.
  • Having an existing book of business with architects, designers, and builders is a major plus.
  • Strong understanding of the lighting, architecture, or custom integration industry, coupled with the capability to comprehend the technical intricacies of the company's products.
  • Experience working with industry manufacturers such as Lutron.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and exceed sales quotas.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and key decision-makers.
  • Competitive mindset.
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.

Benefits:

This Custom Integration Company offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a 401K plan after a year, 5 personal days, 7 sick days, and paid holidays. To ensure their team has the equipment they need to excel, they provide a company computer and cell phone. They also provide funds that can be used to purchase a private health insurance plan.

Compensation

$50,000 base. On Target Earnings $100,000 in the first year.
