Ampersand Solutions Group is Hiring a Program Analyst Near Redstone, AL

Contingent on award, Ampersand Solutions Group (AMPERSAND) has a requirement for one or more Program Analysts who will support a critical DoD mission providing financial, cost, value, budget, risk, and program management planning support.

Scope: Classifies, monitors, and summarizes financial data for the preparation and submission of reports on a recurring basis. Provides cost/benefit studies, financial analysis, analysis of alternatives, return on investment, cost estimation, present value, and other analyses. Conducts research, evaluations, analyses, and studies, and presents recommendations / solutions related to short and long-term program planning requirements. Specific expertise may be required in configuration management, financial management, cost estimation, or risk management.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 0-5 years of relevant, related experience plus:
    • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in engineering, science, or other relevant field or:
      • Associates Degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution plus 2 years relevant, related experience
      • High School Diploma / GED from an accredited institution plus 4 years relevant, related experience
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance at the appropriate level
    • Willing to periodically travel in support of test events

Desired Qualifications

  • ACTIVE DoD SECRET or TOP SECRET Clearance
  • Experience supporting the US Ballistic Missile Defense System
  • Experience developing financial analysis for DoD programs
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and reporting off of a spend plan
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills – especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI
