Janitorial/Maintenance Tech - Amped Kitchens (Chicago & L.A.)

The Role

Amped Kitchens is seeking a Janitorial/Maintenance Tech for Chicago. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to independently handle a variety of maintenance tasks. We are looking for a team player who is committed to maintaining our facilities to the highest standards of safety and cleanliness. Your work is vital to helping our customers – mostly small and up-and-coming businesses – succeed.

Specific Accountabilities:

• Maintain clean, sanitary and safeconditions throughout the building.

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs of equipment and facilities.

• Respond promptly to service requests and emergency call-outs.

• Operate and maintain equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts, with training as needed.

• Demonstrate strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a seamless operation.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Experience in janitorial or maintenance work preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to liftupto 50 lbs. and handle physical demands of the job.

• Certifications: Food Safety and Forklift certifications are a plus. We offer training if needed. 

• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Compensation

$17 to $20 Hourly Based on Experience_____

Benefits including medical and dental insurance after 60 days.
