Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment within our facilities. This role involves various cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the premises.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces in all designated areas.

Waste Management: Empty and dispose of trash receptacles, ensuring proper waste segregation and disposal procedures are followed.

Restroom Maintenance: Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures. Restock restroom supplies as needed.

Floor Care: Maintain and care for different types of flooring, including carpet, tile, and hardwood, through regular cleaning and maintenance activities.

Window Cleaning: Clean windows and glass surfaces as scheduled or as needed, including mirrors.

Maintenance Tasks: Report and conduct minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, repairing minor fixtures, and reporting any major repair needs to the appropriate supervisor.

Stock and Inventory: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and materials as necessary, keeping an organized inventory.

Safety Compliance: Ensure that all cleaning activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and policies.

Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and pressure washers.

Security: Report any security or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles is a plus.

Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and safety protocols.

Ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.

Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Punctuality and reliability.

Working Conditions:

• The Janitorial role may require working in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
