Amotec Inc. is conducting a search for a HSE Specialist. Our client is aGlobal Manufacturer located in the Springfield MO area. The HSE Specialist will be responsible for work place safety and regulatory compliance. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a competitive base salary, profit sharing, and benefits.

Responsibilities Include:

• Serve as a knowledge hub for Federal, State, and local Environmental and Safety regulations, implementing best practices.
• Develop and manage health, wellness, and safety programs to minimize risks for employees and employers.
• Disseminate educational materials on health & safety to enhance workforce awareness.
• Conduct safety audits, make recommendations for compliance, and provide consulting services to maintain regulatory adherence.
• Interpret OSHA requirements and workers' compensation regulations, devising plans to ensure compliance and mitigate liability.
• Maintain records to comply with OSHA guidelines, monitor employee exposure levels, and take corrective actions to prevent work-related injuries or illnesses.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Health & Environmental Health within a manufacturing environment.

· ASP or CSP Certification preferred.

· Relate to individuals at all levels, confidential & professionalism.

· Prefer 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment working in EH&S.
