Freight Broker
This position will require on-site training in Dallas, TX and will work fully remote once training completes.

Responsibilities

• Obtain new customer accounts and manage and grow assigned customer accounts by developing and growing relationships, serving as the point of contact for escalation issues, creating solutions using Amino's resources, increasing gross profit $, and obtaining new lanes/locations.
• Prospect and identify new opportunities for pursuit and growth through face-to-face, phone, and virtual meetings.
• Provide customers with updates on loads.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand and support customer needs and operations.
• Prepare and implement SOP/SLA for new and existing customers.
• Communicate weekly with ALL assigned accounts.
• Solicit feedback from the customers regarding performance.
• Support day-to-day operational escalations.
• Collaborate with the Pricing Department on RFP’s.
• Assign tasks/delegate workload to team.
• Work with team to solicit feedback from new and existing carriers on rates and available capacity.
• Utilize Salesforce in accordance with company policy and expectations.
• Maintain a positive team work environment by fostering positive relationships amongst the team.
• Perform other duties assigned by manager.

Qualifications

• 2 years of previous freight brokerage experience required. Must have experience dealing with the customer-facing side of the business.
• Experience growing and managing a ~ $25K in monthly gross profit book of business.
• Strong understanding of truckload market.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills and follow-thru abilities.
• Proactive problem-solving and negotiation aptitude.
• Strong work ethic with team mentality.

Normal working hours for this position are 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM CST Monday – Friday.
