Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. The Key Customer Manager (KCM) & OL liaison role is a senior field-based position focused on commercial Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationship engagement and other important customer account management.

In this vital role you will manage key relationships and influence key customer behavior across a geographic region, while partnering with the virtual sales organization to provide appropriate service and support to accounts. Additionally, the KCM will play a meaningful role in gathering customer insights to support the development and execution of brand strategy to drive impact with customers and for patients.

  • Develop and maintain KOL relationships with key thought leaders in geography, establishing and maintaining KOL engagement plan

  • Develop and implement territory plan for other important customers in geography

  • Regularly meet with OLs and key accounts to present relevant updates, including new clinical information, positioning, payer coverage updates, etc

  • Direct organizational resources, partnering with aligned virtual sales team member, to address service issues/identified needs for key customers

  • Partner with marketing to plan and execute National and Regional Congress Engagement Plan with a focus on meaningful engagements with senior leadership and in support of marketing initiatives

  • Attend and manage brand activity at key regional and national neurology conferences

  • Monitor KOL insights about current and future treatment patterns that may impact the commercial strategy and provide feedback for consideration

  • Works with marketing teams to provide key customer insights and input on strategy, tactics, and messaging

  • Act as liaison between KOLs and Aimovig brand and cross-functional team, including identification of key advisors equipped to provide compelling insights in support of brand initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of marketing, sales, relevant clinical or medical experience

OR

Master's degree and 4 years of marketing, sales, relevant clinical or medical experience

OR

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of marketing, sales, relevant clinical or medical experience

OR

Associates degree and 10 years of marketing, sales, relevant clinical or medical experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of marketing, sales, relevant clinical or medical experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience and/or existing relationships with key customers in the Neurology area (opinion leaders, centers of excellence, etc)

  • Experience in a combination of one or more of the following areas: product marketing, field sales, clinical, nurse practitioner or thought leader engagement

  • Experience developing and completing HCP key customer strategies

  • Positive relationship building skills, with proven ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with OLs and navigate strategic accounts

  • Clinical, technical, and scientific knowledge and proficiency in complex disease states

  • Ability to influence through effective communication skills in both face to face and virtual interactions, including confident executive presence

  • Proven ability to manage a large geographical territory, through combination of live and virtual engagements

  • Dedicated with strong organizing and planning skills

  • Ability to creatively address problems in an organized, detailed way

  • Highly collaborative and adaptable

  • Ability to exercise strong decision-making skills and live up to the highest ethical standards.

  • Demonstrated ability to complete strategic and tactical plans

  • Working knowledge of Thought Leader engagement practices

Additional Information:

  • Business travel, by air or car, is regularly required (50% - 65%)

  • Willingness to work evenings and select weekends is required

  • Located near a hub airport is recommended
