**Position Summary:**

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for supporting the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of hotel operations while maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and profitability.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assist the General Manager in managing the hotel’s daily operations, ensuring compliance with all company policies, and federal, state, and local laws.

- Supervise various hotel departments including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance to ensure optimal operation and guest satisfaction.

- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial plans, monitor performance against plans, and make necessary adjustments.

- Address guest complaints and ensure they are resolved in a timely and professional manner.

- Help in recruiting, training, and managing staff, ensuring they meet the property’s standards.

- Maintain a high level of service by conducting regular quality checks and training sessions with staff.

- Act as the manager on duty in the absence of the General Manager.

- Collaborate with the sales team to maximize occupancy, increase revenue, and meet the financial goals of the property.

- Implement and manage hotel’s safety programs ensuring the safety and security of all guests and staff.

**Qualifications:**

- At least 3 years of experience in hotel management, with a proven track record in a similar role.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with guests and staff.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

- Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: $42,000.00 per year
