As a Data Manager, you will:

A week in the life of the Data Manager includes:

• Develop and implement data management strategies and management systems.
• Identify key areas with the potential to automate processes and increase efficiency. 
• Collaborate with various internal and external development teams, ensuring that data is integrated effectively across program toolsets and data platforms.
• Act as a key liaison for external vendors and stakeholders related to data needs. 
• Set and enforce policies for data governance.
• Ensure data standards are met to include markings for classification, distribution, and data rights. Implement quality control procedures to ensure high data integrity. 
• Manage the delivery to include virtual deliveries of data products.
• Oversee the collection, integration, validation, management, and dissemination of data products. 
• Lead and develop a team of data professionals.
• Coordinate with project and functional leads to collect and manage data that meets their unique requirements. 

Job Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. US Citizenship required.
• 10 or more years of experience in data management or analysis with a track record in managing large and complex data sets across multiple vendors and systems 
• Strong knowledge of database structured systems. 
• Excellent leadership and team management skills 
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage and deliver across multiple projects 
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex data related needs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $125,000-145,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
