American Well Services is located in Midland, TX and provides well service rigs for the purpose of workover or completion operations. Along with the well service rigs, AWS offers a wide range of additional wellsite support services including, fluid transfer, fishing and rental services, hot oiling, frac tank rental and wellsite construction. Position Overview:

The Facility Maintenance Technician will use their knowledge of plumbing, construction and electrical work to maintain a functional facility for employees and visitors. They will partner with managers/supervisors to respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Performs routine checks on, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems
• Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and can paint walls, piping, floors, and equipment
• Inspect building, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions, perform both reactive & preventative maintenance
• Identify and work with potential outside contractors/vendors from sourcing to quotation to job completion
• Assist with installations and modifications to building equipment and systems
• Respond immediately to emergency situations
• Coordinates deliveries from vendors and suppliers and verifies invoices for accuracy
• Maintains proper inventory records of supplies
• Ensure facility is in compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives as related to building operations
• Maintain appropriate records for any facility related inspections
• Maintain the professional appearance of the by picking up trash and maintaining the landscape
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Experience/Qualifications:

• A minimum of one year related experience, required
• Understanding of HVAC, mechanical, electrical and or/plumbing through trade school or on the job training, required
• Technical proficiency and comfort with troubleshooting various mechanical systems, required
• Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and grounds maintenance, required
• Valid driver’s license with ability to pass MVR, required
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, preferred
• Able to multi-task in fast paced environment and work with limited supervision
• Basic problem solving and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate, read & write in English, required
• Bilingual Spanish, preferred
• Ability to clear/pass pre-employment screening, testing and job-relevant hiring requirements

Physical Conditions:

• Able to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on routine basis
• Able to work in inclement weather conditions such as, wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat/cold
• Work environment may include moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles and moderate to loud noise, requiring use of appropriate PPE
