American Trucking Associations is Hiring a Remote Videographer

The American Trucking Associations (ATA), the nation’s leading trade and lobby association representing the trucking industry, is actively seeking an innovative and creative Videographer.

As the Videographer at ATA, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality visual content that aligns with ATA's objectives. Your responsibilities include capturing, editing, and producing engaging videos to enhance the organization's messaging and outreach efforts. Your key role is to showcase the value of visual storytelling on a national scale, contributing to ATA's overall goals and objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute video projects aligning with the trade association's objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Capture interviews, events, and relevant activities to create engaging and informative video content.
  • Ensure high-quality video and audio recording using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Edit raw footage to create polished and professional videos.
  • Incorporate graphics, music, and other elements to enhance visual appeal.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align videos with brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Develop scripts and storyboards for video projects, ensuring a clear and compelling narrative.
  • Maintain and operate videography equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio devices.
  • Work closely with other departments to understand their video needs and provide creative solutions.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, writers, and content creators for cohesive multimedia campaigns.
  • Assist in distributing videos through various channels, including social media, the association's website, and email campaigns.
  • Optimize videos for different platforms and formats to maximize reach and engagement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in videography, film production, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a videographer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, After Effects) and relevant tools.
  • Knowledge of cinematography principles, lighting techniques, and audio recording.
  • Strong storytelling and scriptwriting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in creating videos for trade associations or similar organizations.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific terminology and trends.
  • Knowledge of Sony mirrorless and cinema cameras.
  • Familiarity with video SEO and analytics for performance tracking.
  • Graphic design skills for creating video overlays and animations.
