American Science & Surplus is looking for a Customer Service Manager to oversee the catalog order entry and phone lines to ensure the highest level of customer service and problem resolution. The supervisor will work alongside and lead a team of 2 other customer service employees to become the company's most amazing department. Psst..which is decided once a year by our rubber chicken mascot!
Hours are M-F 7:30am- 4:30pm (slightly flexible) at our warehouse in Niles, IL. About 20 minutes Northwest of Downtown Chgo. Full time
Qualifications:
-Previous manager/supervisor experience preferred
-Proficient in English with strong communication skills
- Previous data entry and customer service roles preferred
-Ability to handle phone etiquette and outbound calling
-Able to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate to meet deadlines
-Analytical skills for problem-solving
