ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for a .NET Developer. This is starting out as a contract position running through October 2024 with strong potential to extend or possibly convert to FTE. MUST HAVES:
- SQL experience (Team uses MSSQL)
- Producing code using .NET languages (C#, VB .NET, ASP .NET)
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer
- Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Producing code using .NET languages (C#, ASP .NET)
• Upgrading, configuring and debugging existing systems
• Providing technical support for web, desktop or mobile applications
• Participate in requirements analysis
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
• Test and deploy applications and systems
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code
• Improve existing software
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures
• Database knowledge in MS SQL, including design, and complex stored procedure development
• Proficiency using standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools such as Visio
• Proven experience as a .NET Developer
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
• Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))
• High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy

Domain experience; Health Care
Experience using Agile methodology
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years of IT development/programming/coding professional work experience
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics
