Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and fun welcoming environment is being provided for employees, guests, and others.
• Upholding a culture and standard of constant vigilance and safety.
• Managing and communicating daily tasks and responsibilities to team members.
• Ensuring and maintaining a full lifeguard schedule for facility hours.
• Communicating with patrons, on site management, and American Pool supervisory personnel.
• Overseeing day to day operations including maintenance of pool chemical levels and filtration equipment.
• Provide support for employees and management
• Conduct regular in-service training, audits, and knowledge tests with staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within Aquatics
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Certified Pool Operator certification is preferred, but not required. CPO certification can be provided by American Pool
• Have or willing to train in Ellis and Associates Lifeguard Training
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be available to be “On Call” to respond in emergencies
