Customer Care Representative

What is expected from our Customer Service Representatives?

Our CCR’s are the “Front Line” of our business. Our CCR’s are the primary point of contact for many of our clients and potential clients. Your ability to provide an exemplary level of service to our clients and potential clients when they contact us for their pest control needs will help to establish yourself and American Pest Management as the premier pest control company in our service area. 

So what does a CCR do on an average day? 

Once you have completed your “World Class” training you will begin to handle incoming phone calls from the public. You will schedule appointments for the technicians on your team, answer basic questions concerning our pest management programs, coordinate between the other CCR’s and office staff to keep the Company running smoothly. You will be responsible for entering account notes and making sure customer’s accounts are current. You will assist our field technicians in setting up follow-up appointments, and you will assist the office manager with various other office related tasks. You will be equipped through your training to quickly identify the needs of our clients and direct them to the appropriate person for answers. You will have the opportunity to offer products and services to our clients over the phone that will provide you with the chance to earn a bonus on top or your excellent regular earnings! You will be responsible for meeting or exceeding certain goals that pertain to the position such as maintaining a 98.5% monthly call list completion rate.

Every day will find you doing at least some of the following:

  • Greeting customers in a friendly manner by phone and assisting with their needs.
  • Identifying needs of our clients and providing them with solutions or directing them to the appropriate department in a timely fashion.
  • Scheduling appointments for our Service Technicians in an efficient manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What do I need to succeed?

  • Prior Customer Service experience preferred, but not required.
  • You must possess basic computer skills.
  • You must be able to apply the knowledge learned through training to assist our clients by providing World Class Customer Care.
  • You must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
