AMERICAN MEDICAL FACILITIES MANAGEMENT (AMFM) is Hiring a Director of Nursing Services (RN) Near Bluefield, WV
- Direct the operations of the nursing department to ensure that the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times in accordance with the state and federal regulations, facility policies and procedures, and resident directives.
- Provide leadership for the staff in the department in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited school for registered professional nurses and possess a current unencumbered, active license in the state of West Virginia.
- Must have management and leadership ability, organizational; skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, creativity, and integrity.
- Familiar with state and federal regulations for long term care, and experience in gerontology desirable.
- Must possess and maintain current CPR certification, or acquire a CPR certification within 90 days of date of hire.
- Graduate of a 2-year program, candidate must have 3 years of nursing experience, one in a supervisory capacity. Graduate of a 4-year nursing program or beyond, candidate must have 1 year of nursing experience
