Wound Care/ RN Educator- LTC
Queens, NY
*Salary: Up to $150K per year (depending on experience)*
Responsibilities:
•
Supervises the quality of wound care provided to residents
•
Implement nursing policies and procedures
•
Responsible for monitoring each resident’s Quality of Wound Care
•
Must have knowledge of the resident’s status and condition
•
Must attend the Quality Assurance Meeting when scheduled
•
Must maintain an accurate Resident’s condition tracking list for the IDT
Qualifications:
- Must have New York RN license
- Must have long term care experience
- Must have wound care experience
- Must have prior staff development/ nurse education experience
- Develop nursing care plans for resident at risk or currently with skin integrity issues, include treatment protocols
- Must have thorough knowledge or state/federal regulations governing the nursing home industry
