American Mechanical, inc. (AMi),a leading provider of Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) services, is seeking a highly motivated HVAC Service Technician to join their Walnut Creek, Northern California team. AMi is a design/build/maintain mechanical services provider engaged in providing comprehensive maintenance, repair, replacement, and new equipment installation services for heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and indoor air quality systems and energy management services in commercial and industrial buildings.
AMi specializes in the design, value engineering, construction, and maintenance of HVAC systems for commercial and industrial users. Our customers primarily include office buildings, refineries, airports, universities, laboratories, developers, and property managers.

Required:
The successful candidate will have one to two years of commercial/industrial HVAC experience. Be competent in troubleshooting and repair of up to 40 Ton DX equipment and demonstrate proficiency with the following types of equipment and system repair: (1) package gas-electric, (2)split system dx, (3) heat pump, (4) water source heat pumps, (5) fan coils (6), and constant volume systems. The successful candidate will also have comprehensive knowledge of wiring diagrams, electrical troubleshooting, silver, and soft soldering experience.
