American Liquidations is the largest wholesale liquidator of store returns and closeout merchandise in New England. The company remarkets products in pallet and truckload quantities to the general public, and businesses domestically and internationally.

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving retail sales, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with product displays. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet customers in a friendly manner as they enter the store
• Heavy customer phone volume as well as funneling questions through our online app
• Educate customers with accurate information about products and assist in product selection
• Handling membership sign up/ verifying current memberships for checkout
• Build rapport with customers and guide them through the buying process
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
• Process payments and complete sales transactions

Job Requirements and Skills:

• Excellent communication skills. capable of building trusting relationships
• Relevant work experience as a Receptionist, Customer Service Associate or similar role
• Understanding of the retail sales process
• Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
• Proven track record of achieving sales quotas
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour
