Overview:
We are seeking a Member Services Representative to join our team. As a Member Services Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our members. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle financial transactions.

Responsibilities:
· Provides friendly, quality service to existing customers by efficiently and accurately processing and recording transactions and answering inquiries regarding American Lake Credit Union’s products and services.

· Responsible for performing transactions with negotiable instruments and ensures the security of such.

· Develops relationships by assessing member's needs through referring and selling the appropriate products and/or services as well as meet sales goals through cross selling.

· Assists branch staff to ensure members receive quality service, quickly, professionally and efficiently.

· Have a thorough knowledge of and ensure compliance with all Credit Union policies and procedures, state and federal regulations governing Credit Union operations and management.

· Have a thorough knowledge of all Credit Union loan products in order to logically assess and make loan recommendations/decisions. Logically assess loan product alternatives in reaching and making quality loan recommendations/decisions. Discuss loan denials, counteroffers, cash flow analysis, and credit underwriting criteria as it pertains to each loan evaluation.

· Exercise responsibility for the delivery of financial services to Credit Union members in conformance with the Credit Union’s lending policy, lending guidelines, interest rates, repayment schedules and terms for all loans.

· The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, accurate when processing transactions and contribute to a sales/service culture. This position requires excellent and friendly member service. Must be available Monday through Saturday. Reliable transportation if needed at other locations.

Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service or a similar role preferred
- Basic math skills to accurately process financial transactions
- Knowledge of debit/credit transactions and loan origination is a plus
- Strong relationship management skills to build rapport with members
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
