We take pride in doing good things for the environment to help create a greener, more sustainable future for all.It’s simple; we do it right.We AIM for excellence.Job DescriptionServing as the lead point of contact for customer account management matters in an assigned book of business.Establishing and maintaining frequently and successful customer communication and build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.Participating in a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, direct mail, email & networking.Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.Managing inbound sales leads and reporting with the assistance of the sales manager.Exercises a working knowledge of materials and sources of supply to make purchases at prices consistent with quality, delivery, and quantity requirements.Processing requests for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations directly with vendors and manufacturers.Negotiating with suppliers on price, payment and shipment terms and contracts to optimize cost effectiveness.Responsible for follow-up and shipment expenditures with suppliers to ensure on-time deli updated lead-time and inventory info for proper planning.Keeping accurate records of relevant activities.Regularly meeting with Sales Manager to review weekly customer retention and relationship activities, progress versus goals and status of key customer relationships.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Qualifications1-3 years of experience preferred.Experience in sales / scrap ferrous /purchasing sales recycling and metal industry a plus. College degree in related field (Finance / Economics / Business/ Sales) a plus.Additional InformationA competitive wage, vacation, benefits and a 401k matching program ($21-24.00 per hour)The tools and support needed to be successful in your career and professional developmentA dynamic & rewarding work environment that is also a lot of fun!
