ability to stay organized and create routines that are purposeful and effectively implemented; a habit of communicating with employees and parents in timely, collaborative, precise, helpful, positive ways; experience in preparing and facilitating daily lesson plans; experience establishing and communicating clear learning objectives to students and parents; ability to use a variety of pedagogical methods that engage students in active reasoning and relating; and experience monitoring and reporting progress to parents.
Special education training in teaching students with specific learning disabilities is helpful, but is not required.
Candidates should be professional in appearance and demeanor. They should be willing to uphold and serve as ambassadors for the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off-campus.
Position is available beginning in the 2024-25 school year.
Location of position is 142 W. 200 N., Salt Lake City, Utah.
