Job Overview:

American Guard Services, Inc. is currently seeking an Account Manager to fulfill a newly awarded government contract in Hawaii (the position oversees sites in Oahu, Hawaii Island, Maui, and Kauai).

Job Description:

• $47,840.00 annually to start (wage reviewed after 180 days)
• Company-issued gas card for business traveling

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that trained and qualified security personnel properly staff all posts.
• Work independently and self-manage.
• Work with all personnel in the organization to identify, analyze, and solve problems, and create solutions/processes for continuous improvement.
• Be responsible for oversight, coordination, and operational control of uniformed security guards in multiple locations/Hawaii islands.
• Ensure company policies and requirements are consistently applied and enforced.
• Ensure that all security personnel are aware of and perform their duties in full compliance with client policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Counsel, advise, motivate, and (when necessary) provide discipline and positive reinforcement to personnel assigned to client locations.
• Ensure that assigned security personnel are kept up-to date on any modifications to procedures, policies, or regulations.
• Oversee hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development and support.
• Ensure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are met.
• Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately.
• Execute other security management duties as appropriate.

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of one to three combined years of management experience in security, law enforcement, and/or the military.
• Must have or be able to obtain a security license.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have legal right to work in the United States (work authorization).
• Must be familiar with Management, Operations, Scheduling, and Client Relations.
• Prior military or law enforcement experience is preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record (e.g., no DUIs)
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, proven client interfacing experience, and advanced computer skill set.
