```Job Summary:```
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and drawings, preparing accurate cost estimates, and collaborating with clients, contractors, and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, project management, and contract negotiation.
```Duties:```
- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand project requirements
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide cost-effective solutions
- Negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids
- Utilize construction estimating software
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure cost control
- Coordinate with project managers and construction teams to ensure accurate budgeting
- Prepare detailed proposals and bid packages for submission to clients
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as required

- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and practices
- Proficiency in using construction estimating software
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost calculations
- Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
- Knowledge of construction management and project management principles
