POSITION:

Using all available information, specifications, scope, narrative, and drawings, take complete responsibility for generating take-offs, securing the sub-contractor and material prices, organizing/preparing the proposal on assigned projects. Evaluate and solicit guidance, if necessary, on rigging, constructability, manpower, supervision levels, equipment, systems etc., pulling the entire estimate together for final review and submittal. If there is a conflict in information, develop the necessary RFI’s and if not answered clarify the bid.

Responsibilities – Estimator / Project Manager:

• Plan, direct and coordinate bid proposal activities
• Write detailed proposals
• Attend pre-bid meetings and walk-throughs
• Break down projects into functional stages
• Resource subcontractors, materials, and equipment
• Develop and maintain relationships with local customer base
• Project Manage jobs, coordinate with both Shop and Field superintendents to job completion

Qualifications – Estimator / Project Manager:

• 3 years of previous experience in the Sheet Metal/HVAC construction industry
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must be detail-oriented and organized with ability to make sure deadlines are met
• Proficient with using MS Office, Windows 10, Microsoft Teams, and Quote Soft would be a plus
• Must be flexible, adhere to deadlines, and enjoy working with a diverse group in a fast-paced environment
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Valid Driver’s license, required
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
